Ad_Space [available] is a retro-futurist health magazine set in a vibrant yet sterile dystopia.

What is health in the Ad_Space?

A splash of plastic surgery.

​ A generous dose of celebrity culture.

​Ad_Space takes place in a society that is scientifically light years ahead, but lacking in culture and camaraderie. Everyone wears a mask and chooses to beautify it with cosmetic enhancements. The people of this world want to look good for their surveillance cameras. It is a world where nobody asked any philosophical questions about the rapidly advancing state-of-the-art technology. Those who thrive in this environment are praised for their lack of ethics.

Sound familiar?

Ad_Space [available] is a satirical take on our current synthetic social media slop via a retro, tangible medium: paper. 

With the rise of readily available consumer goods, excessive plastic surgery, and Artificial Intelligence, this little fake magazine is an attempt to process Late Stage Capitalism © (or at least make it a little bit funny).
